Cavendish wins twice in Tour
Mark Cavendish (Team Columbia-HTC) showed once again that he is the fastest sprinter in the peloton by winning the second and third stage in the Tour de France.
The second stage was a traditional bunch sprint, in which Cavendish beat Tyler Farrar (Garmin-Slipsteam). The third stage was very different. 32 kilmetres before the finish, a group of 28 riders escaped from the pack. In this group, eight riders of Team Columbia-HTC and six riders of Skil-Shimano.

In the sprint, Cavendish beat Thor Hushovd (Test Team Cervelo) and Cyril Lemoine (Skil-Shimano). With this victory, Cavendish strengthens his green jersey lead. Team Skil-Shimano won the team classification of this stage, a great result for the Pro Continental team that participates in the Tour de France by getting a wild card.

Cavendish is riding SHIMANO DURA-ACE 7900 components and a PRO handlebar and stem.
